Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking an Account Executive for the Business Insurance team to manage client relationships, drive growth, and deliver best-in-class service. You will conduct coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, and negotiate with carriers while guiding clients through proposals and billing issues.

Ideal candidates hold a Property & Casualty license, 7+ years of Business Insurance experience, and relevant designations (CPCU/CIC/ARM/AU).

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years' experience in Business Insurance.
• Property & Casualty license.
• Insurance designations (CPCU, CIC, ARM, AU) or equivalent knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best-in-class service and drive growth.
• Provide coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers, prepare proposals, and resolve billing issues.
• Mentor Client Service Associates by developing policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge.

A day in the life.

As our Account Executive on the Business Insurance team, you will manage relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth. Providing coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, negotiating coverage and pricing with carriers, preparing proposals, and resolving billing issues will be part of your day-to-day. You will also mentor our Client Service Associates by developing their policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge.

Our future colleague.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum seven (7) + years' experience in Business Insurance
• Property & Casualty license
• Insurance designations (CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU) designations or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and ability.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• Experience with Non-Profit, Education, Social Services clients
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience using Sagitta, ImageRight, Epic

The applicable base salary range for this role is $92,400 to $172,100.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
