Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency in the United States seeks an Account Executive, Business Insurance to service and market large client accounts, building strong carrier relationships and presenting renewal and new business proposals.

The role focuses on negotiations, client presentations, and due diligence for Private Equity accounts, requiring 5–10 years in insurance and licensure, with CPCU/CIC/ARM/AU designations or equivalents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related field is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in an insurance agency or brokerage environment.
• P&C Insurance License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU designation or equivalent knowledge.
• Experience using Sagitta, ImageRight and/or EPIC; proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide high proficiency of service and account marketing to larger, more complex client accounts.
• Develop relationships with insurance carriers and market/new business, including negotiations.
• Present renewals or new business proposals to clients.
• Lead due diligence for Private Equity accounts.

A day in the life.

As our Account Executive on the Business Insurance team, your goal is to provide a high proficiency of service and account marketing to larger, more complex client accounts. You will develop relationships with insurance carriers and be responsible for marketing and negotiation of new and renewal accounts for a wide range of industries as well as presentations to clients for renewals or in support of new business. Experience managing Private Equity accounts and leading due diligence will set you up for success in this role.

• 5-10 years' experience in an insurance agency or brokerage environment
• P & C Insurance License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
