Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) seeks an Account Executive for the Business Insurance team. You will manage relationships with carriers, market and negotiate new and renewal accounts for diverse industries, and present to clients for renewals or new business opportunities.

The role emphasizes serving larger accounts, collaborating with teams, and leveraging MMA’s resources while pursuing ongoing professional development. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in an insurance agency or brokerage environment.
• P&C Insurance License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU designation or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
• Experience using Sagitta, ImageRight and/or EPIC.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide high proficiency of service and account marketing to larger, more complex client accounts.
• Develop relationships with insurance carriers and market, negotiate new and renewal accounts for a wide range of industries.
• Present to clients for renewals or in support of new business; due diligence for Private Equity accounts.

A day in the life.

As our Account Executive on the Business Insurance team, your goal is to provide a high proficiency of service and account marketing to larger, more complex client accounts. You will develop relationships with insurance carriers and be responsible for marketing and negotiation of new and renewal accounts for a wide range of industries as well as presentations to clients for renewals or in support of new business . Experience managing Private Equity accounts and leading due diligence will set you up for success in this role.
