Job description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive with a background in the aerospace industry to spearhead the business development efforts. This key role will involve formulating and implementing strategic plans to drive revenue growth within specific commercial and military aerospace sectors, both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:
  1. Forge and implement a detailed strategic plan to unearth and nurture opportunities unique to the aerospace sector.
  2. Construct business cases with clear goals, including revenue benchmarks, expense forecasts, and expansion tactics.
  3. Establish and track development objectives, orchestrate action plans, and assess the sales force’s efficacy.
  4. Engage with various teams to synchronize efforts and realize company-wide goals.
  5. Deepen client relationships, bolster sales support, and initiate lead generation within the aerospace domain.
  6. Craft and present compelling sales pitches, proposals, and cost strategies.
  7. Scrutinize market intelligence and trends to pinpoint fresh sales prospects.
  8. Guide specialized team training and contribute to the formulation of business development strategies.
Qualifications:
  1. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management; an MBA is highly regarded.
  2. Over 5 years of high-level sales or strategic planning experience, with a decade or more in leadership roles.
  3. Experience with DOD operations, maintenance, and contracting will be considered an asset.
  4. Exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical abilities.
  5. Proficiency in the MS Office suite and adeptness at interpreting financial reports.
  6. Preparedness to travel up to 40% for business needs.
