Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. in Tyler, Texas seeks a Sales Account Executive to generate television advertising revenue by calling on agencies and prospects and convincing clients of TV advertising value.

You will build relationships in the local business community, manage accounts, deliver compelling presentations, and collaborate with station staff to place ads that meet client objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications or equivalent.
• Minimum one year’s experience in sales, preferably in the media field.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies and actions.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
