Job summary

TransPerfect in Minneapolis is seeking an Account Executive to develop new business relationships and serve as the first line of support to existing clients. You will research prospects, cold-call, and manage communications to grow our client base.

The role requires a minimum bachelor’s degree, 1–3 years of sales experience, and a proven record of meeting targets. We offer a salary range of $46,000–$48,000 plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective clients through various strategies and cold-call prospective clients
• Create accurate prospect databases with names, titles, phone numbers, and addresses
• Generate daily mailings to prospects using updated spreadsheets
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with clients
• Educate clients about the translation process and TransPerfect’s services

• Generatedailymailingstoprospectiveclientsusingupdatedandaccuratespreadsheets


• Coldcallprospectiveclients


• Creativelyproblemsolvetoimprovecurrentnewbusinessdevelopmentstrategy


• Negotiateratesanddeadlineswithprospectiveandcurrentclients


• Educateprospectiveandexistingclientsregardingthetranslationprocess,includingTransPerfect’srates,justificationforturnaroundtimeandcompetitors’information


• Liaisewithproductiontoensurethatalljobsarehandledappropriatelyandwithkeenattentiontodetail,resultinginaperfectproduct


• Consistentlyfollowupwithclientstoensuretheirsatisfactionwithdelivery,qualityandcustomerservice


• ResearchandunderstandallindustriesthatTransPerfectmarketsto,includingindustryleaders,currentevents,andanyotherpertinentdata
