Job summary

JOHN LEONARD is a Boston-based IT advisory and consulting firm seeking an Account Executive to expand its North American market. The role targets proven enterprise sales professionals with a history of selling technology consulting and professional services to Fortune 500 and Global 2000 organizations.

The candidate will develop relationships with C-suite executives, including CIOs, CFOs, and CPOs, and drive multi-threaded opportunities from prospecting to close in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience
• Proven success managing complex, multi-threaded sales cycles
• Experience selling technology, professional consulting, or project-based services
• Demonstrated ability to prospect and close net-new business
• Experience selling to C-level executives and senior decision-makers
• Strong consultative selling, business development, and account management skills
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office/Excel, and LinkedIn
• Strong organization, time management, sales forecasting, and pipeline management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft solutions is a plus
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute named-account territory plans to drive new business and expansion
• Prospect, develop, and close new customers through target accounts, inbound leads, referrals, and networking
• Build relationships with C-suite and senior executives
• Present compelling value propositions, ROI, and customer success stories
• Manage and maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast
• Develop industry relationships and referral networks
• Partner with Marketing and Delivery teams on sales materials, presentations, and lead-generation initiatives
• Develop customized, ROI-based proposals for prospective clients
• Negotiate business terms and close complex enterprise opportunities
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas

Job description

Salary Range: $85k-$110k base | $200k+ On-Target Earnings

Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00
