Job description

As an Account Development Manager, you will grow new sales through assigned Pittsburgh Paints Company stores, focusing on increasing existing business year-over-year and developing new accounts within the commercial segment.

You will report to the Regional Manager and work onsite in the Bridgeport, CT market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure outstanding customer service to existing accounts by staying updated on current promotions, new products, and customer service practices to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop account planning strategies, identify sales opportunities, and understand the segments served by existing business.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage accounts, maintain call logs and contact information, and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with store managers and staff to meet or exceed customer needs.
  • Provide accurate customer quotes to meet margin targets aligned with pricing strategies.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required, with 3+ years of sales experience and excellent customer service skills. Higher education in a business-related field is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM software is preferred; coatings industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Must be willing to travel daily within the assigned territory and possess a valid driver's license.
