Job description

As an Account Development Manager, you will grow new sales through assigned Pittsburgh Paints Company stores, increasing both existing business year-over-year and developing new accounts.

You will report to the Regional Manager and work remotely/on the road based in the Saginaw, MI area.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure outstanding customer service is provided to existing customer accounts by staying updated on current promotions, new products, and customer service practices to identify growth opportunities.
  2. Develop account planning strategies, identify sales opportunities, and understand existing business segments.
  3. Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage accounts, maintain call logs and contact information, and generate reports.
  4. Collaborate with store managers and employees to meet customer needs.
  5. Facilitate customer quotes to achieve margin targets in line with PPG pricing strategies.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma required.
  2. At least three years of experience with excellent customer service skills.
  3. Experience with CRM software preferred; coatings industry experience is a plus.
  4. Willingness to travel daily within an assigned territory; valid driver's license required.
