Job summary

CRST The Transportation Solution, Inc is seeking an Account Administrator to manage inquiries, complaints, and feedback from customer accounts. You will communicate across in-person, phone, email, and social channels to ensure timely, accurate responses and build strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include entering pickups, tracking shipments, coordinating with carriers, handling invoices, and supporting the department as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Enter pickups in BOS, MyAIT, and McLeod systems.
  • Track, trace, and update all related systems.
  • Coordinate with outside carriers for quotes and proposals.
  • Respond to emails in the shared inboxes.
  • Transfer loads to billing for PPW and billing readiness.
  • Process and approve daily vendor invoices.
  • Cover other duties when team members are on PTO.
  • Handle customer issues and concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How You’ll Work
  • Hours: Monday to Friday (9:00 am to 6:00 pm)
  • Compensation: This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the pay range the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour. This rate reflects a good faith estimate of the compensation offered for this role and is expected to apply uniformly to all candidates selected.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; prescription drug and telemedicine services; company-paid life and disability insurance; retirement savings with company match; paid time off, holidays, and parental leave; plus additional voluntary benefits and employee discounts.
  • Additional Compensation: Total compensation may also include other forms of pay such as overtime or discretionary incentives, as applicable.
About the Role

Responsible for responding to and/or managing inquiries, complaints, and feedback from customer accounts. This may include providing support through various channels, such as in person, phone, email, or social media. They must be able to communicate effectively, understand the customer's needs, and provide solutions or information promptly. Additionally, they may need to collect and record customer data and maintain accurate records of customer interactions. The role requires problem-solving skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to work under pressure. The focus is on building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and providing quality service that meets or exceeds their expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Entering pickups in BOS, MyAIT, and McLeod operating systems
  • Track, trace, and provide updates to all those systems
  • Work directly with outside carriers for quotes and proposals
  • Responding to emails in the shared email boxes
  • Transfer loads to billing/checking for required PPW for billing
  • Process and approve daily vendor invoices
  • Cover other positions in the Dept when people are on PTO
  • Handling customer issues/concerns
  • Other duties as assigned
