Job summary

Target is seeking an Accommodations Business Partner in Minneapolis, MN, who will serve as the primary contact for workplace accommodations. You will assess requests, implement solutions, and ensure compliance with laws.

Job Overview

As an Accommodations Business Partner you serve as the primary contact for team members needing workplace accommodations. You assess requests, determine reasonable accommodations under state and federal law, coordinate implementation, and monitor ongoing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end case management as a subject‑matter expert on the accommodation process, including interactive process administration, solution brainstorming, and partnering with local HR and leaders to implement accommodations.
• Discern escalated and complex cases that may require consultation with Sr. Manager Accommodations or Sr. Accommodations Business Partner.
• Create and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant case records.
• Maintain a caseload of approximately 80 cases, fluctuating with high‑volume periods.

Qualifications

• Four‑year degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in case management or support to employees on disability, leave, HR, customer service, healthcare, or employee relations.
• Experience advocating and settling disability issues.
• Knowledge of federal and state disability and accommodation laws and the workplace accommodation process.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
• Computer operating skills.
• Flexibility to be available from 7 AM – 6 PM Monday‑Friday.
• Passion for delivering a positive team member experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in case management or disability support.
• Prior advocacy or consultation experience.
• Understanding of disability and accommodation laws.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid/Flex for Your Day: core role performed both onsite at Target HQ MN and virtually, depending on tasks.
