Job summary

Honda is seeking a qualified engineer to manage all aspects of accessory component development, from plan definition to first article inspection, achieving QCD targets. You will coordinate with suppliers and the CBU development team to reach the desired innovation and seamless integration across models.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering, preferably in powersports or automotive, with strong leadership, communication, and 3D modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accessory component development from planning through first article inspection.
• Coordinate with suppliers and development team to achieve integration and cost targets.
• Create and manage project schedules and communicate status in meetings.
• Ensure installation instructions are completed on time for product release.
• Collaborate with suppliers to meet design intent, vehicle fitment, and packaging requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and development of processes and accessory technologies.
