Qualifications

• Experience handling various specimen types incl. blood, oral fluids, urine, and swabs.
• Experience in data entry and order processing in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to work in a process-driven setting with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in processing specimens for one or more product lines.
• Unpack, sort, and verify specimens from couriers and agencies.
• Label, aliquot, and deliver samples while maintaining chain-of-custody.
• Enter orders and demographic information into the system.
• Prepare negative and positive in-house blinds.
• Assess specimen suitability per lab procedures.
• Resolve problematic specimens and manage storage/disposal.
• Forward misdirected specimens to correct location.
• Maintain secure reporting instructions from clients and admins.
• Keep workstation stocked, organized, and clean.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information.
• Perform data entry of specimen demographic information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
