Job summary

Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ seeks a Disability Services & Test Center Specialist to support accessibility services and testing operations. The role coordinates accommodations, manages confidential student records, and ensures compliant testing processes on the main campus and at times the graduate center.

Under supervision of the DDS Director and collaborating with the Assistant Director, you will supervise testing processes, maintain secure environments, and deliver exceptional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible administrative/office experience.
• 1–3 years of higher education experience.
• Knowledge of ADA, ADAA, Section 504 and FERPA.
• Working knowledge of assistive technology and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Disability Services Department.
• Manage accommodation service procurement, tracking, and quality assurance.
• Monitor budgets, purchase orders, vendor payments, and reporting.
• Coordinate testing accommodations and proctor scheduling.
• Maintain confidential student records in compliance with FERPA.
• Serve as liaison between students, faculty and staff on accessibility matters.
• Ensure secure testing environments and proper handling of testing materials.
