Job summary

Robeson Community College seeks an Accessibility Services Coordinator/Counselor to provide counseling, career guidance, and student support for students with disabilities. The role also coordinates Accessibility Services programs and services on campus.

The successful candidate will offer personal counseling, crisis intervention, case management, referrals, and educational outreach, contributing to an inclusive learning environment at Lumberton campus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Eligibility for professional counseling licensure in North Carolina required; current professional counseling licensure preferred.
• Professional counseling experience or related experience in an educational, clinical, community, or comparable setting.
• Experience in a higher education setting preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate competencies in counseling areas related to the functions of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, career, and student support services and coordinate Accessibility Services for students with disabilities.
• Provide personal counseling, crisis intervention, career support, case management and referrals, educational programming and outreach.
