Job summary

Vanderbilt University is seeking an Accessibility Services Coordinator within the Student Access Office to coordinate captioning, CART, and other technology services for students with disabilities. The role collaborates with students and campus stakeholders to foster an accessible educational environment.

Reporting to the Assistive Technology Specialist, the coordinator will produce accessible materials, arrange captioning, and support notetaking and AT equipment while ensuring timely delivery

Qualifications

Associate's degree or three years of related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in technology domain or related field preferred.
Experience with assistive technologies and accessible formats.

Responsibilities

Coordinate captioning, CART, and media-access services for courses and events.
Produce accessible course materials (Word, PDF, HTML, EPUB, Braille, tactile graphics).
Prepare accessible exams and assessments with correct structure and reading order.
Locate and manage accessible textbooks and publisher files.
Provide first-line setup and troubleshooting for assistive technologies.
