Job summary

Allyant is seeking an Accessibility Engineer to identify accessibility issues on websites, mobile apps, and other digital assets for our clients. You will audit sites and applications and QA test client fixes to ensure issues are resolved during remediation.

You will work within the Client Services team to fix issues in a way that is compliant and usable, pairing with a screen-reader auditor and addressing keyboard-only navigation and color-contrast concerns in a remote-friendly startup setting.

Qualifications

• AA or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of the web development life cycle.
• Ability to identify accessibility issues on websites and mobile apps.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify accessibility issues on websites, mobile applications, and other digital assets.
• Assist audits to help clients fix issues in a compliant and usable way.
• Complete client audits paired with a screen-reader auditor.
• Assist the screen-reader auditor in identifying other visual issues.
• Handle keyboard-only navigation and color-contrast issues.
