Job summary

Under the Manager of Access, you will serve as the shift communication point between bed manager, screening provider, and access coordinators, and assist with orientation of new staff. This full-time role requires strong multitasking, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• 2 years of progressively responsible experience in access/admissions or related setting.
• Competency in email/Word/Excel.
• Knowledge of IDX and Sunrise a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with staff, referral sources and patients/families.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for shift task assignment in Access to maximize bed capacity for Towson and Baltimore Washington inpatient psychiatric beds.
• Serve as the shift communication point between bed manager, screening provider, and access coordinators.
• Assist Manager of Access with orientation of new Access Coordinators.
