Job summary

Sheppard Pratt invites applications for an Access Coordinator (Full-Time/Day Shift) at our Towson location. You will act as the first contact for admissions inquiries, collect critical data, and determine the appropriate level of care.

Responsibilities include clinical triage, referrals to internal or external services, and coordinating admissions as needed. You will also market our programs and complete documentation for admissions and referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• At least 1 year of progressively more responsible clinical experience.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of IDX and/or Sunrise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact to patients, families, outside agencies, and referrers to respond to inquiries for admission or referral.
• Collect and evaluate psychiatric, demographic and insurance data to determine the appropriate level of care.
• Provide clinical triage and referral to Sheppard Pratt services or external services; coordinate inpatient admissions when assigned.
• Actively market Sheppard Pratt programs and services to internal and external groups.
• Complete written and online documentation requirements for admissions and referrals.
