Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Access Specialist to serve as the first contact for referrals for Outpatient and Intensive In-Community services. You will register clients, verify records, and schedule initial appointments and evaluations. You will also manage the waitlist to improve access to care.

Role requires a Bachelor’s in Human Services or 3–5 years of health-care customer service experience, Spanish fluency, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Shift: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field or 3–5 years health care customer service experience.
• Spanish fluency required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; good typing and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer referrals via calls, emails, and online submissions within targets.
• Register new clients and enter data in EMR accurately.
• Schedule intakes and psychiatric evaluations for Outpatient program.
• Manage waitlist, no-shows, and cancellations to maximize access to care.
• Serve as liaison between clients and APN, and support administrative tasks.
