Job summary

Keenova is seeking an Access and Reimbursement Manager for the San Francisco/Sacramento area. You will lead case pull-through, collaborate with prescribers, specialty pharmacies, and the Patient Service Center to improve patient access and treatment initiation.

The role requires deep payer knowledge, strategic coordination with cross-functional teams, and the ability to navigate complex authorization processes while maintaining regulatory and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience with specialty pharmaceutical products, or 2 years' access-related position outside pharma.
• Experience in Ophthalmology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Dermatology.
• Strong understanding of insurance and benefit design with commercial and government payers.
• Background in Access & Reimbursement, Payer account management, Specialty Pharmacy distribution, Patient Services, Case Management.
• Successful navigation of complex authorization processes for specialty medications.
• Coordination of case pull-through with Patient Service Center, Case Managers, Sales, and Specialty Pharmacies.
• Field responsibilities include educating HCP offices to streamline authorization and expedite access.
• Communication with SPs to improve processing time and shipment scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead pull-through process on open cases to expedite patient start to therapy.
• Work with prescribing offices, contracted Specialty Pharmacies, the Patient Service Center, and sales teams.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute tactical plans to improve treatment access for patients.
• Identify payer trends and alert business partners to changes in coverage and requirements.
