Job summary

The Arizona Game and Fish Department is seeking an Access Program Coordinator to lead the Adopt-a-Ranch and Landowner Respect programs. The role involves coordinating with agencies, private landowners, and public groups to improve access while protecting wildlife habitat.

Responsibilities include public outreach, program development, and assisting with policy and landowner partnerships. A bachelor's degree in wildlife science is required, and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in wildlife science or closely related field.
• Experience with GIS or GIS coursework preferred.
• Ability to develop written agreements with agencies and private interests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Landowner Respect and Adopt-a-Ranch programs statewide.
• Coordinate with federal, state, county and local governments and landowners on public access projects.
• Resolve access issues and identify alternative routes to protect wildlife habitat.
• Represent the Department in public meetings and at outreach events.
• Travel 30%–40% and operate a hybrid work schedule with in-office days.
