You will manage budgets, track expenditures, prepare reports, and ensure projects align with management plans; travel is frequent. A Bachelor’s in wildlife science and GIS experience are preferred; salary range is $55k–$70k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in wildlife science or closely related field required.
• Minimum requirement of strong knowledge in wildlife habitat protection and GIS.
• Experience in budgeting, environmental compliance, and project administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers and manages the statewide HPC and funding processes.
• Plans, organizes, and facilitates HPC meetings across the state.
• Develops funding priorities and reviews proposals; identifies process improvements.
• Coordinates with private enterprises and government agencies; manages SBGT program.
• Tracks SBGT sales, issues tags to hunters, and maintains records.
• Travel is required to perform duties and meet stakeholders.
