Job summary

The Arizona Game and Fish Department seeks an Access Program Coordinator in Phoenix, AZ. This role develops and implements the Adopt-a-Ranch and Landowner Respect programs, coordinating with regional staff to meet objectives and process public access requests on ASLD lands to protect wildlife habitat.

The candidate will engage with federal, state, county, and local governments, private landowners, and public user groups, providing outreach and guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in wildlife science or related field.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Post-offer medical/physical examination required.
• Experience with GIS and project coordination preferred.
• Occasional travel 30-40% is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements Adopt-a-Ranch and Landowner Respect programs.
• Coordinates with regional staff to meet program objectives.
• Manages public requests for area closures on ASLD lands.
• Coordinates with federal, state, county, local governments and landowners.
• Represents the Department for the Locked Gate Protocol and public meetings.
• Presents outreach to landowner groups and general public.
• Occasional travel and hybrid work schedule are required.
