Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking an Access Manager to coordinate admissions and transfers in alignment with clinical standards and to support timely access to care across facilities.

The role partners with Central Admissions, treatment programs, and other departments to optimize bed utilization and improve organizational processes, while maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a human services field.
• Experience in a health or human services agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.
• Previous utilization, case management, or bed management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily census management and monitor admission, transfer, and discharge volumes.
• Lead discharge planning to ensure timely, safe transitions of care.
• Coordinate and optimize intake and placement processes for residential programs.
• Manage client transfers per approved transfer protocols.
• Facilitate development and evaluation of bed management processes.
• Identify opportunities to collect, analyze, and utilize data to improve access and placement.
