Job summary

Jewish Family Service of San Diego seeks an Access Supervisor to lead the Aging and Resource Navigation team onsite. The role combines staff supervision, client intake, triage, crisis intervention, and navigation to community resources throughout San Diego.

The position is full-time, on-site, reporting to the Director of Aging and Resource Navigation. Strong organizational, documentation, and client-centered skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience supervising non-exempt employees
• Experience in leading a team through transition or transformation
• Ability to manage multiple variables and guide team to solutions
• Experience in social services or client-centered support
• Knowledge of social service standards and community resources
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Fluency in English; bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise the intake team and manage daily workflow and timekeeping
• Support and implement access transformation systems and workflows
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and client privacy
• Respond to incoming inquiries and conduct initial assessments
• Maintain documentation in electronic client records
• Provide high level customer service to clients and families
• Collaborate with program staff and partners to connect clients with resources
• Address crisis intervention and safety concerns as needed
