Job summary

Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego seeks a Residential Services Coordinator I to assist residents across multiple properties. Working in a hub-and-spoke model with centralized scheduling, you’ll offer in-person and virtual services to ensure equal access and standardized processes.

The role requires rotating through sites, training residents on appointment use and technology, coordinating with external programs, and maintaining timely records.

Qualifications

• Resourceful and good problem solver.
• Responsible, self-motivated, trustworthy, and able to balance the various requirements of this position.
• Strong desire to help others; able to earn trust and build confidence among residents.
• Able to communicate and interact with residents in a professional and friendly manner.
• Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Gerontology or related field; 2–3 years of social service experience.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between all Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego residential properties and provide quality services to clients.
• Meet regularly with the Residential Services team to review case files and needs at all locations.
• Train residents on the new appointment process for in-person and virtual appointments.
• Train residents on using technology to meet daily needs or improve living standards.
• Maintain records and prepare monthly statistical reports for the Program Manager.
