Job summary

Allegion’s Stanley Access Technologies division is hiring an Installation Technician to service and install automatic doors across the DFW area. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy loads while working nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License.
• Frequently going up and down ladders.
• Standing on concrete several hours a day.
• Ability to lift and/or carry weight up to 50–75 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule incl. nights, weekends, or on call.
• Prior experience servicing automated doors.
• Prior experience in Construction/Glazier/Electrical/Carpentry fields.

Responsibilities

• Service and perform preventative maintenance for Stanley Automatic Door Operating Equipment and other electro/mechanical equipment.
• Perform service and repair work as designated in a profitable and proper manner.
• Record productive time versus travel time.
• Maintain accurate work records and parts used at each job.
• Keep updated on changes/modifications to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standard.
• Maintain manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property in proper manner.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log.
• Maintain good customer relations and customer service.
• Assist and instruct others in install / service methods.
