Job summary

Allegion is seeking an Install Technician for Stanley Access Technologies in Wixom, MI. The role focuses on installing or servicing automatic doors, maintaining records and equipment, and ensuring safety and quality on every job.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift 75–100 lbs. AAADM certification is preferred, and a $3,000 bonus is offered upon certification completion.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Flexible work schedule with ability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs and work in varying climates.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation or service work as designated, recording time spent on site.
• Conduct preventive maintenance per designated service program.
• Maintain accurate records of work and parts used.
• Stay updated on changes to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards.
• Keep manuals and details updated with changes communicated.
• Maintain company vehicles and tools in good condition.
• Present a neat, professional appearance and workmanship.
• Manage inventory for service vehicles and log entries.
• Test equipment before leaving site and perform safety checks.
• Maintain good customer relations and service.
• Assist and instruct others in install/service methods.
