Job summary

Sheppard Pratt is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for patients, families, referrers and outside agencies. You will collect psychiatric, demographic, and insurance data to determine the appropriate level of care and coordinate admissions as needed.

You will perform clinical triage, refer to internal services or external resources, and actively market programs to internal and external groups while ensuring timely documentation for all admissions and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• At least 1 year of progressively more responsible clinical experience.
• Must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of IDX and/or Sunrise preferred.

The pay range for this position is $19.36 to $28.69/hour. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
