Job Description
- Serve as the single point of contact for patients and families, aiming to resolve issues with "one call does it all."
- Handle phone calls, in‑person scheduling, online patient requests, follow‑up appointments, second opinions, and track referrals.
- Manage complex scheduling across multiple providers at Philadelphia and Specialty Care locations.
- Assist with obtaining clinical information and records for initial visits.
- Provide cross‑coverage for other access coordinators when needed.
- Answer referral calls and schedule appointments for physicians and families.
- Collect patient demographics, insurance info, and coordinate complex care scheduling.
- Guide families and physicians on next steps and visit requirements.
- Coordinate appointments with access schedulers per department guidelines.
- Ensure excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff.
- Assist with other tasks as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
- Excellent telephone, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage high‑stress situations and conflict resolution.
