Nationwide projects across access control, CCTV, intrusion, and commercial low-voltage systemsWe’re expanding nationally with roles that can be based in multiple markets, and candidates may also be considered for openings throughout Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.A day on the roadIt’s Monday morning. You step off a flight in Denver, sync up with the Project Manager, open the site plans, and get to work. By mid-day you’ve routed and labeled Cat6, mounted readers, and terminated door contacts. After lunch you fine-tune camera views, program panels, and verify REX devices and maglocks. Before you leave, you document your work, brief the customer, and confirm the system passes checkout. Tomorrow, you’re supporting a multi-site rollout in another city—new team, new building, same mission: get critical security systems online safely and correctly.Your impactInstall, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial access control platformsDeploy and maintain CCTV/IP video surveillance and intrusion alarm systemsMount and wire card readers, door contacts, REX devices, electric strikes, maglocks, control panels, and related hardwarePull, route, terminate, label, and test low-voltage and composite cabling (Cat5e/Cat6 and structured)Install basic conduit and cable pathways; drill through concrete, walls, and other building materials as neededRead and execute from blueprints, wiring diagrams, floor plans, and site mapsComplete wiring, device installation, connections, testing, and full system commissioning/checkoutDiagnose and resolve cabling, device, communications, and component issuesValidate system performance before project closeout and provide on-site technical supportCoordinate with Project Managers, leads, customers, and other trades; document progress and resultsAdhere to customer, company, and job-site safety requirementsBackgrounds that translate wellAccess Control Technician, Security Systems Technician, Electronic Security TechnicianLow Voltage Technician, CCTV/Surveillance Technician, Alarm TechnicianFire Alarm Technician, Structured Cabling Technician, Voice & Data TechnicianField Service Technician with commercial low-voltage experienceSystems & components you may work withAccess control systems, panels, card readers, and credentialingElectric strikes, magnetic locks, door contacts, and REX devicesCCTV/IP cameras and video management systemsIntrusion/burglar and fire alarm systemsStructured cabling, Cat5e/Cat6, and voice/data cablingWhat you bringHands-on commercial installation, service, or troubleshooting in low-voltage/securityComfort reading plans/diagrams and using hand/power tools, drills, and metersConfident problem-solver with strong communication and customer service skillsComfortable with smartphones, computers, email, spreadsheets, and electronic work systemsWorks independently and as part of an installation team; safe on ladders and liftsOwn basic low-voltage/telecom tools and PPEValid driver’s license meeting company driving requirementsTravel realitiesThis role travels heavily.Approximately 75–100% nationwide travelOvernights and extended trips as projects requireFlexible schedules, including occasional nights, weekends, or off-shiftsWork at different commercial customer sites throughout the U.S.Experience with traveling construction, field service, nationwide installations, rollout projects, telecom, security systems, fire alarm, or low-voltage project work is highly valued. We welcome diverse experienceYou don’t need exposure to every platform listed—strong low-voltage installation and troubleshooting skills plus a willingness to learn go a long way.Relevant domains include: Access Control | CCTV | Security Systems | Fire Alarm | Intrusion Alarm | Low Voltage | Structured Cabling | Voice & Data | Telecom | Electronic Security | Field ServiceWhy this pathIf you enjoy building systems with your hands, traveling to new sites, solving problems on the fly, and expanding your expertise across security and low-voltage technologies, this role was made for you.Core proficienciesElectrical troubleshooting and electrical/electronic systemsField service readinessLow-voltage cabling installationAccess control systemsVideo surveillance (CCTV)IT equipment familiarity (servers, networks, telecom, cloud)Blueprint and plan reading
