Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to repair and maintain component cable, fiber, wireless access points, cameras, access control devices, and other low voltage cabling with or without direct supervision. The role demands hands-on installation, service of security systems, and teamwork.

Key tasks include installing and maintaining access control hardware, cameras, and cable pathways, while ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

Minimum have 1 year of experience in the physical security, IT or electronics field.
Experience in configuring access control and surveillance systems.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
Successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Install, Service and Maintain various access control devices and electrified door hardware.
Install, Service and Maintain various cameras.
Install, Service and Maintain cable pathway systems to support security and network systems.
Maintain company-owned equipment.
Work in a team environment with other service team members.
Observe all safety rules and best practices.
Perform other duties, as required.
Shall demonstrate a willingness to learn and work well within a team environment.
