Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to repair and maintain component cable, category cable, fiber, wireless access points, cameras, access control devices, and other low voltage cabling and devices. The role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining a range of security and network systems on client sites.

The position requires 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the physical security, IT or electronics field.
• Experience configuring access control and surveillance systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain access control devices and electrified door hardware.
• Install, service and maintain various cameras.
• Install, service and maintain cable pathway systems to support security and network systems.
• Maintain company-owned equipment.
• Work in a team environment with other service team members.
• Observe all safety rules and best practices.
• Perform other duties, as required.
• Shall demonstrate a willingness to learn and work well within a team environment.
