Job summary

University of California, Riverside Facilities Services is hiring Access Control Mechanics. Two openings on a 4/10 schedule (5:30am–4:00pm, four days/week) with an hourly salary range of $45.07–$50.75. The role covers installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of access systems across the campus.

Applicants must have work authorization. The position may require after-hours responses for emergencies and coordination with campus customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and locksmith services preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or electrical diagrams preferred.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with campus customers.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain access systems and standalone networks.
• Provide security and access control support for buildings, safes, and closures.
• Coordinate with customers to understand needs and fulfill work orders; respond to emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays.
