Job summary

Allied Universal, CHANNAHON, IL, is seeking a Security Officer Credential Systems to safeguard clients, manage site entry, verify badges, and maintain access control. You will monitor entry points, respond to alarms, and provide courteous service during night shifts.

This full-time role requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a night schedule across Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Thu 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM,

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with access control and badge verification.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization and credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain access-related records.
Control access for deliveries, vendors, and contractors, directing individuals to check-in areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and security concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner per established protocols.
Conduct regular patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter to support site security operations.
