Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Secure Entry Systems in Minooka, IL to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial settings. You’ll monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment for employees and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws/prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry to restricted areas according to site policies.
• Respond calmly to alarms, incidents, and critical situations and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, shipping/receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to identify unauthorized access.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and access-control activities.
