Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Systems in CHANNAHON, IL to manage site access, verify badges, and monitor entry points at a chemical/petrochemical location. You will provide courteous service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while using security systems.

This full-time role offers daytime and overnight shifts, a $18.75/hour pay rate, and opportunities to grow within a supportive, safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization and credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access for deliveries, vendors, and contractors, communicating entry requirements and directing individuals to designated check-in areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support site security-related operations.

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will help manage site entry, verify badges and credentials, monitor access points and alarm panels, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
