Job summary

Allied Universal in Saint Johns, MI is seeking a Security Officer Access Validation to join our team. You will safeguard client sites by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and managing visitor access with courteous service.

You will also respond to incidents, coordinate with site personnel, and help maintain a safe, compliant environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, drug screen, and 21+ for armed roles.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing as required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and access‑control policies.
• Monitor and control access by verifying visitor, employee, and contractor credentials.
• Maintain visitor, delivery, and access records and manage credentials.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and report concerns.
