Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Access Governance in Whitestown, IN. You will safeguard clients across industries, manage entry and exit, verify credentials, and maintain a visible security presence at a logistics site.

You will provide outstanding customer service, monitor access points, and support a welcoming, orderly environment while upholding site policies and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor/driver authorization, and maintain accurate entry/exit records.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery access at a logistics location, directing authorized traffic as instructed.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
