Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer Turnstile Monitoring in Whitestown, IN to safeguard clients across logistics & distribution. This role offers an adjustable schedule via our Claim a Shift platform and a focus on customer service and safety.

You will verify credentials, monitor access, patrol facilities, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible presence to deter security threats, while complying with site

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and driver entry, and following established access-control procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access and loss-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter; report security-related hazards, unusual activity, and policy violations.
