Job summary

Allied Universal seeks a Security Officer Entry Credential Coordinator in Lumberton. You will serve patients, visitors, and staff, manage badge access, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents in a healthcare setting while upholding a team-focused culture.

This full-time role pays $19.66 per hour with evening shifts. Candidates should have prior customer service and access control experience, be 18+ (21+ for armed roles), and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, including reviewing identification, visitor credentials, and delivery documentation.
• Maintain visitor logs, issue and recover access credentials as directed, and provide clear directions to approved areas of the facility.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry areas, restricted locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
