Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Access Desk in New York, NY to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badges, and document access activity while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will respond to alarms and incidents, perform regular patrols of access points and perimeter areas, and uphold site policies and emergency procedures in a professional, safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles entering or leaving the utility location.
• Issue, collect, and maintain records for visitor credentials, access cards, keys, and other controlled access items in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
