Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Governance in Middle Village, NY. The role focuses on managing entry points at government locations, verifying authorized access, and maintaining a welcoming environment while delivering strong customer service.

You will monitor access points, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with site procedures. The position pays $18.87 per hour with a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public at a government transportation location with access-control procedures.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying IDs, credentials, and visitor authorizations.
• Maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records and issue access credentials as directed.
• Respond calmly to access-control incidents and emergencies and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and public areas to deter unauthorized activity.
