Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Operations in Punta Gorda, FL. The role involves managing entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible security presence at a government location. You will provide exceptional customer service while supporting a welcoming, controlled environment and following post orders.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay rate: $19.00 per hour. The schedule includes multiple afternoon/evening shifts across the week.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow post orders and security procedures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following access-control procedures at a government location.
• Monitor entrances and restricted areas; verify authorization and control access per post orders.
• Screen visitors, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor logs.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, professional manner and document activities.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, public areas, and perimeter locations to identify security concerns.
