Qualifications

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, law enforcement personnel, and the public while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points at a government facility, verify identification and authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, public areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security-related incidents and violations through required documentation and channels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, public areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security-related incidents, suspicious activity, damaged property, and policy violations through required documentation and communication channels.
