Job summary

Allied Universal in Mobile, AL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Verification to safeguard clients across Logistics & Distribution sectors. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a visible, professional presence.

You will provide excellent customer service, respond calmly to incidents, and work a schedule including day and evening shifts. A Guard Card and HS diploma are preferred, with background checks and drug screening as required.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at access points and verify credentials.
• Monitor entry points and maintain access records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate observations to responders.
• Conduct patrols to identify unauthorized activity.
• Assist with managing vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at entry/exit points.
