Allied Universal in Mobile, AL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Verification to safeguard clients across Logistics & Distribution sectors. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a visible, professional presence.

You will provide excellent customer service, respond calmly to incidents, and work a schedule including day and evening shifts. A Guard Card and HS diploma are preferred, with background checks and drug screening as required.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Verification in Mobile, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, maintain a visible presence, and help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points for a logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials, processing visitor and driver entries, and maintaining required access records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Assist with managing vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at entry and exit points in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
