Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers and vendors through access-control procedures.
• Monitor and control access points; verify IDs; issue passes and maintain records.
• Inspect personnel, vehicles and packages as per site procedures to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeter; document observations.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and help deter incidents through a visible, professional presence. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify identification and/or delivery credentials, issue visitor or contractor passes, and maintain accurate access records.
• Inspect inbound and outbound personnel, vehicles, and packages as authorized by site procedures to help protect controlled areas and help deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; document security-related observations and report unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
