Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Credential Review in Goodyear, AZ. You will protect client facilities, verify badges, review credentials, and monitor entry points while delivering superior customer service in a logistics setting.

Responsibilities include managing access, responding to incidents, patrolling premises, and documenting observations for site contacts and responders. A high school diploma and background check are required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access to loading areas, trailers, gates, and other restricted locations, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting orderly movement of people and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
